A quick explanation of what the different transfers are.

Our DTF shirt transfers are perfect for most cotton/poly cotton fabrics and can produce highly detailed images. Please note that a commercial heat press is required for application (not an easy press or iron). We recommend avoiding images with lower opacity as the printer will not lay white ink behind these parts, which may result in washing out. These transfers are made with a special printer and ink, where the printer lays a layer of white ink behind the colored image. A powder is then melted onto the back of the white layer, allowing the transfer to be applied to fabric with a heat press.

Our sublimation transfers work best for pressing onto high-count polyester shirts or polyester-coated items. The designs are printed with a specialized printer and ink on sublimation paper, which you will then heat press onto your item. Keep in mind that not every item requires the same time and temperature, so be sure to research what works best for the item you are using. To ensure optimal results, shirts should contain at least 50% polyester. Also, note that the ink will only adhere to the polyester in the shirt, so with a 50/50 blend, expect some of the ink to wash out, resulting in a more distressed-looking design.

It's important to note that sublimation is suitable only for high-count polyester fabrics that contain at least 50% polyester or more. Additionally, the printer won't print any white for sublimation. If your design includes white, the color of the shirt will show instead.
